Stieglitz and O'Keeffe

The article on Alfred Stieglitz and Georgia O'Keeffe is a story about how one artist and one aspiring/soon to be artist manage to find each other. I feel happy for them when they discuss how they were send each other lots of long letters and even eventually fall in love and get married. I eventually feel for O'Keeffe. Although they seemed to be so in love O'Keeffe's dreams in the art world were calling her name and by stepping away from someone and something that doesn't allow her to move forward in the direction she see's herself in, she became successful and well known, but also most importantly, she became happy and free and I love that.

In relation to this course I loved although it may have been a bit provocative: "photograph you — the hands — the mouth — & eyes — & the enveloped in black body — the touch of white — & the throat — but I didn't want to break into your time — " I could almost see a photograph/image with these things mentioned in my mind.
