  1. These are nice series of photographs, Tyler. The top one would work well for assignment one, introduction to composition, or the next assignment shadow and light. For this assignment I'm trying to get you to think about nature specifically water and its interaction with rocks in an abstract way.

In image number two is a view of palm trees sky and sand but no water… It's okay.

The third photo is by far the strongest and addresses the main intent of the assignment. You may have seen me comment on other students photographs but when there is a horizon line, I want you to rotate it so that it is parallel to the top edge of the frame. That shows much more control and intent on the part of the photographer. I love how the light in the sky is reflecting in the water in the foreground. Nicely done.

The next one is like number two not much water but I do like the silhouette of the fine grasses against the sky.

The last one would be good for assignment number one introduction to composition again with the structure and the way you abstracted it.

    When were you in Florida?
