My First Photography Class

Hi! My name is Alisha Norton and this is my first photography class.  I decided to take this class to encourage myself to use and learn to enjoy a different forms of art through the use of technology.  I don't have a smart phone or any form of internet access on myself 24/7 so I will be using my first digital camera, a Sony Cyber-shot.  As a humanities major, I hope to use what I learn from this class to capture images of the people and places of my home here in New Haven.

    Hi Alisha... Welcome! The Sony CyberShot is a great camera to take this class with. It will be more flexible than a phone in terms of having a real optical zoom lens. Does it shoot in RAW mode?
