My name is Theresa! I am a Psychology/Art Therapy major here at Albertus and I am excited to take this course. I have always been interested in fine arts and photography since high school, and in fact, high school is where I took my first photography course. Unfortunately, the course was very poorly put together as the funding was low and no one owned any actual cameras, we all somehow made it work though! My second and most recent experience was a Photography: Theory and Practice course I had taken during my time studying abroad in London, England last semester. In this course we used analog 35ml cameras and both processed and developed our films and prints by hand in a dark room!
I am looking forward to learning new photo taking and editing skills in this course that I could possibly use in the future with my photo-taking!
I was unable to take a self portrait of myself today but I do have one that was taken not too long ago, along side two self portraits that had been taken with my 35ml during my time in London!
Hi Theresa! These are great pictures, love the last one.
ReplyDeleteWelcome back from London, Theresa! The top image is beautiful. That's great that you took a darkroom class... it will pay big dividends in digital shooting and editing... I'm intrigued by the middle image of light and shadow...
