Hello All!
My name is Tiffany and this is my first photography course. I was interested in learning more about photography and editing mainly to be able to capture better pictures of my family and our adventures. I will be using my iPhone X with Google Snapseed app and Pixlr app for editing. I am working on borrowing a friends camera for the next assignment and getting Photoshop set up on my Mac as well.
I took this self portrait in the morning before my normal routine of hair and makeup. I have left my imperfections in an attempt to feel more secure about the real me. This is taken with natural lighting in my dining room. I used the Snapseed app to crop the photo. I enhanced my eyes to make them sharper and cleared, I wanted them to be the focus of this picture. I didn't smooth the skin or remove my freckles or under eye circles, instead I kept it natural and then changed the picture from color to black and white.
Here's to a GREAT MOD!

I love your excitement! Makes me feel so positive about this MOD!
ReplyDeleteHi Tiffany... I love the tight framing and the direct gaze in your self portraits. Natural lighting is key for this class.... the iPhone X has a great camera... it looks like you used the portrait lens, throwing the background a bit out of focus... Nice!
ReplyDeleteYou are off to a great start.
